The TRIC Awards 2024 took place on Tuesday afternoon in London's Grosvenor House Hotel.
The 2024 TRIC Awards saw stars of the small screen and the airwaves turn on the daytime glam for the ceremony in London's Grosvenor House Hotel. The Television and Radio Industries Club annual awards reward the best in their fields from the previous year.
This year's ceremony had drama from the start when Nigel Farage walked off the red carpet when questioned about having a milkshake thrown over him recently. Despite this, he had a fantastic afternoon when he nabbed the award for Best News Presenter for his GB News show.
He beat out his former GB News colleague Eamonn Holmes and Susanna Reid to the gong. In another surprise win Bradley Walsh bested Ant and Dec to take home the TV Personality award.
His ITV teatime show The Chase was also a winner beating Dragons Den, 1% Club and The Traitors to the Best Game Show award. However it was Chasers Anne "The Governess" Hegerty and Jenny "The Vixen" Ryan who wowed as they looked unrecognisable collecting the award.
Both ladies had really turned on the style for the occassion and they weren't the only ones. The cast of Casualty hung up their scrubs and turned on the glamour for the occassion. The cast of Coronation Street also pulled out the stops for the event and looked a million miles from their Weatherfield alter egos.
