Rio Ferdinand has candidly disclosed the ultimate dealbreaker that could spell the "end" of his marriage with wife Kate Ferdinand. The lovebirds, who started their romance back in 2016 and exchanged vows in a glamorous 2019 ceremony, have since expanded their brood with two adorable children - Cree, who is two years old, and baby Shae, born just last July.

Kate also plays a cherished role as stepmother to Rio's three children from his previous marriage to the late Rebecca Ellison.

During a revealing chat on Abbey Clancy and Peter Crouch's podcast, The Therapy Crouch, the couple delved into the dynamics of their relationship. Rio, the former Manchester United star turned pundit, shared an unexpected fear that he believes could jeopardise his union with Kate.

In a surprising revelation, Rio admitted that when vacationing with Kate, he refuses to use the bathroom in their hotel room for certain needs, opting instead to search for an alternative loo, even if it means wandering around in the wee hours.

The 45-year-old sports icon confessed: "We go on holiday and we have a room. I know there's loads and loads of people that are doing late night shifts that have seen me walking round hotels in the middle of the night looking for a disabled toilet or a spare toilet - to go for a number two.

"Because I refuse to do it in the same room. I've got a serious issue."

Former TOWIE star Kate has a unique way of keeping the spark alive in her relationship with Rio Ferdinand, as she revealed: "Kate has never farted in her life.

"She doesn't even go for a number two. If she farted in front of me I swear it could be over, romantically."

While chatting with his ex-footballer mate Peter Crouch on the Therapy Crouch podcast, he shared an amusing anecdote about a friend's unusual bathroom setup.

He said: "One of my mates actually had a house built and - I can't name him because you know who he is - but he was saying that they've got two toilets, which they call thrones, alongside each other in the toilet.

"They're that comfortable. It's horrendous that, isn't it?"

Kate, 32, then confirmed her husband's comments as she said: "We can't even talk about that word."
