Taylor Swift leaves concert goers 'disgusted' after 'foul' Eras Tour incident

Taylor Swift was having a tough time at her Eras Tour gig in Scotland over the weekend.

The 34-year-old megastar was putting on a show for her Scottish Swifties during the Edinburgh leg of her highly successful tour at the Murrayfield Stadium.

Things appeared to be running smoothly until the Bad Blood singer was struck with a runny nose and was forced to wipe the snot on her glitzy outfit.

Despite it being summertime here in the United Kingdom, Sunday's show took place on a particularly cold evening with temperatures dropping as low as eight degrees Celsius.

And it was apparent Taylor hadn't climatised herself to the chilly weather.

Attendees of the concert caught her wiping snot away from her nose with her bare hands and onto her outfits countless times.

One of the viral clips showed Taylor singing her hit song Don't Blame Me when she discreetly lowered her mic with one hand and swiftly wiped her snot away with the other.

She was caught again in another fan video, which has racked up over 2.4 million views on TikTok, as she walked down the runway of the stage as a long string of mucus dripped off of her fingertips.

The unfortunate sighting has left fans divided - with some blasting her as foul, while others jumped to her defence.

Taking to X, formally Twitter, user @blushymushie pointed out: "You can’t lie this is DISGUSTING," as @Thurzday_ wrote: "OMGGGGG GIRLLLLLLL DIS IS INSANE."

A third Swiftie @rachel penned: "That’s actually foul and the way she flicked it on the fans," under the viral TikTok of the moment.

Meanwhile fan @katnation13 defended Taylor, fuming: "All those snot videos going around… what did you expect her to do ??? let it drip down her face???? throw it at the fans??? wiping it in her costumes that will be cleaned is the only thing she could’ve done in the middle of a 3 hour performance in cold weather."

And @PriscillaClark also didn't judge Taylor, adding: "She really is super woman. From extreme heat to extreme cold to altitude changes and the queen slays EVERY TIME."

As user @christinephilippa admitted: "I’m obsessed with these genuinely. She just looks so graceful wiping and lipping snot hahahahah."
