David Beckham tries out gardening

David Beckham has amused his fans after he was filmed doing some gardening. The former footballer was given tips by his wife Victoria Beckham as he tried to plant a rose shrub, much to the amusement of his fans.

Wearing a pair of jeans, a brown top and a flat cap, the celebrity star was bare foot as he showed off his gardening skills in the sunshine.

In one video, the father of four said to the camera: "The Queen of Sweden - English shrub rose. Or should it not be - English rose shrub?"

Many of his 87 million followers flooded the comments section as they all noticed that he had a can of Stella beer next to the spade. One person commented: "Love the can of Stella."

Another person chimed in: "Didn’t have him down as a can of Stella fella." A third fan also wrote: "The can of Stella," with a laughing face emoji.

The couple are set to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary in July this year. David admitted that he has questioned how his 27-year relationship with Victoria has survived through the "ups and downs".

David and Victoria, who tied the knot in 1999, are one of the most famous couples in the world and lifted the lid on their private family life in a new four-part series on Netflix which aired last year.

David said that watching the Netflix show back made him and his wife "emotional" as it made them realise how strong they are as a couple. He shared: " That's one of the things we both, me and Victoria, probably both get emotional about.

"After everything was over and we watched it finally, that's the one thing that we looked at each other and was like, 'I don't know how we got through the last 27 years, but we did and we have an amazing family, amazing business and we're happy.'"

The four-part Netflix series, which was released on October 4 last year, teased a rare insight into who David Beckham actually was before he experienced football fame. The documentary also explores his marriage to model Victoria Beckham and some of their most difficult experiences.
