Clarkson's Farm fans say same thing as Jeremy's girlfriend Lisa enjoys 'date' with co-star
Jeremy Clarkson's girlfriend Lisa Hogan enjoyed some downtime with another co-star and fans were quick to share their reaction to her sweet post.
Lisa Hogan revealed she was spending the day with none other than fan favourite Gerald Cooper. The Clarkson's Farm star delighted social media users as she shared an update with her 525,000 followers.
The 76-year-old left fans devastated when Jeremy Clarkson revealed the stone wall specialist had been diagnosed with prostate cancer during season three of the hit show, with the former Top Gear star admitting Gerald was "terrified".
However, by the time season three came to an end and after 37 radiotherapy sessions, the Grand Tour star revealed Gerald had "beat the big C".
Taking to Instagram today (June 8), Lisa shared a selfie alongside Gerald as she praised him for being "brave" as the pair attended the Bledlington Village Fete together.
She wrote: "My galant date for the Bledington festival today 1pm @kingsheadinnbledington @bledingtonfete."
Social media users flocked to comment on the heartwarming post as fans all said the same thing. One person penned: "I met Gerald a few weeks ago and he looked really well and was a complete sweetheart, and even gave me a hug."
Another wrote: "So happy to see Gerald. I hope he knows how much he is loved by so many!"
"Gerald is soo loved all over the world. He's so humble and kind, his smile melts every heart," a third remarked.
A fourth shared: "Nice to see Gerald looking so well."
Gerald, who is a dry stone wall specialist, has become a favourite on Diddly Squat Farm and according to Jeremy, he has never left his small village of Chadlington.
He has been working on the land longer than Jeremy has owned it. The wall builder used to work for the farmer who managed the plot before the Top Gear star.
Jeremy eventually upgraded Gerald’s role of "head of security" for the farm.
