Coleen Nolan has responded to a fan after they mistook her boyfriend Michael for a famous comedian. The Loose Women star has been in a relationship with her partner since 2021 after they met on Tinder.

She recently shared photos on Instagram of her trip to Bali, where she was reunited with her daughter Ciara. Coleen went to south-east Asia to catch up with her 22-year-old child after she jetted away to go travelling with her boyfriend.

In her post, she added the caption: "Just home from an unforgettable trip to Bali, the best time with the best people." In one snap she is seen dining out with Ciara and also cosied up with her boyfriend Michael.

One of her followers couldn't help but compare Michael to a famous comedian and added the comment: "Didn't know you and Ben Elton were an item!"

Coleen saw the funny side and responded with three laughing-face emojis. One person replied: "I thought that too...you look so happy Coleen."

Another person also chimed in: "He’s his double I thought it was him", as another person said: "I was just thinking she’d gone on holiday with Ben Elton."

Ben Elton is a British comedian and playwright, best known for working on the 1980s sitcom The Young Ones and the popular BBC series, Blackadder.

Coleen had previously struggled to deal with her daughter's absence after Ciara and her boyfriend had bought a one-way ticket out of the UK in January, with no set date on returning.

She previously said exclusively to Express Online: "It's been horrendous. Sorry, to be honest with you. This tour that's happening now - I've hardly ever been at home, so it's kind of helped.

"But on my days off, and now because she's been gone since January, I just said yesterday, 'Wow. I'm really missing her now'. I do miss her, but sometimes it just hits me hard.

"I was on FaceTime the other day with her, and so I kind of feel like I'm on it with her. [...] There's a piece of me that's over there with her that I won't get back till she's home."
