Geri Horner, famous popstar and other half of Formula One’s Christian Horner, has opened up about her nearly all-white wardrobe.

The 50-year-old Spice Girls star appears to have abandoned her once multi-coloured outfits in favour of light-coloured clothing.

Speaking about her new fondness for wearing white in an interview, the star admitted she felt like her more toned-down sense of style felt like a “school uniform” for grown-ups.

Her pale wardrobe has sparked confusion amongst her fans in the past, as many have questioned how the mother-of-two can get away with wearing such easily stainable outfits.

Geri has a daughter Bluebell, 17, whom she shares with a previous partner, while she is also stepmother to husband Christian’s eight-year-old daughter Olivia.

The pair, who got married back in 2015, also share a six-year-old son named Monty.

As well as being a mum, Geri also looks after animals, including chickens, horses and even donkeys at her family's lavish country home in Oxfordshire.

Therefore, fans are perplexed by the star’s decision to regularly opt for all-white ensembles.

However, Geri has insisted in an interview with OK! Magazine that she wants her wardrobe to be plain and simple.

"[It makes life] simple. I like the colour and it's like wearing a school uniform as an adult,” she said.

“It matches everything and I don't have to think in the mornings. It's great for busy people - it looks like you've made an effort when you haven't."

During the interview, Geri also spoke about embracing the “gift” of age after hitting her 50th birthday milestone.

“Age is a gift,” she told the publication. “I've got a few more wrinkles, but I've also got more discernment, more wisdom. It's a trade-off."

Geri rose to fame as one-fifth of the iconic British pop group, The Spice Girls, which saw her known to the world as Ginger Spice.

With over 100 million records sold worldwide, the Spice Girls are the best-selling female group of all time.

Other members of the group included Mel B (Scary Spice), Mel C (Sporty Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) and Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice).
