Hugh Bonneville discusses volunteering at a vaccination centre
Doctor Who actor John Bishop, 54, has taken to social media to reveal that he bumped into the Downton Abbey actor Hugh Bonneville, 57, on his way to receive his coronavirus vaccine today. The actor, who is best known for playing Robert Crawley, Earl of Grantham in the hit ITV series, signed up to become a volunteer marshal earlier this year. John branded the vaccination centre "posh" in a nod to his friend's starring role in the Downton Abbey series and film.

Standing in the sunshine, the comedian posed alongside his friend who was wearing a hi-vis jacket and mask.

Hugh also enjoyed seeing his friend as he posted a picture of the brief encounter to his Instagram account.
He wrote: "My turn to ask for a selfie. @nobleandstace and I had to up our Welcome game when the one and only @johnbish100 arrived for his vaccination. #MidhurstPharmacy #vaccination"
The Golden Globe nominated actor took a selfie with the comedian and another volunteer in the background.
Smiling at the camera, Hugh had his mask around his chin as he posed.
Last year the comedian called coronavirus the “worst illness I have ever had” after receiving a positive test result on Christmas Day.
Taking to social media, the former footballer revealed he was experiencing "incredible headaches, muscle and join [pain], no appetite, nausea, dizziness and chronic fatigue."
John shared his positive test results from the NHS which told him to self-isolate for 10 days.
The Doctor Who actor ended his post: "I know statistics suggest a 99.9 percent survival rate but that doesn't mean I would wish this experience on anyone. Keep safe."
