Kym Marsh lashes out in furious exchange as she slams 'confusing' coronavirus advice
KYM MARSH - who is best known for playing Michelle Connor in Coronation Street - has clashed with various Twitter users about "confusing" advice from the Government, in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
Coronavirus: Johnson advises UK to use ‘food delivery services’
Coronation Street star Kym Marsh, 43, hit back at Twitter users who queried why she was confused about the Government’s advice regarding the coronavirus. Her tweet comes after Prime Minister Boris Johnson, 55, told workers to only travel to and from work “if neccersary”.
Oh do be quiet dear
After Boris’ latest statement yesterday, Kym took to Twitter to query his “confusing” advice.
In view of her 783,000 followers, she wrote: “What does he mean by travelling to and from work unless absolutely necessary?
“What is considered absolutely necessary?? My son is a tiler going into other people’s homes?
“Can’t work from home so is this necessary?? I can’t do my job from home so is that ok?? I’m confused? Are you?”

The actress’ tweet prompted many Twitter users to respond, with some also admitting they were also confused by Boris’ statement.
Others queried why Kym didn’t understand the latest requirements, which stemmed into a debate.
One Twitter user wrote: “Errrm they have been absolutely clear about it - have none of you watched the news?(sic)
“Clearly said no going to work unless you’re a key worker. But you’ll always get those who just wanna do as they pls & never mind if they spread the virus to vulnerable people!”
Hitting back, she replied: “I am actually self isolating with all of my family and have been totally responsible.
“However I feel they need to be clearer when telling people what they can and can’t do work wise. Watch what he actually says love.”
Another fan commented: “Try reading the government website instead of asking Twitter. Your work is not essential. Neither is a tilers.”
“So what didn’t our PM say that!? Watch it again love,” she replied.

In response to Kym, another Twitter user wrote: “Tiling someones house is not a necessity.”
She replied: “No but his job is to him! As is his income and given that he has said don’t travel to and from work unless necessary??? It’s confusing.”
When another told her to “get some common sense”, she replied: “Oh do be quiet dear.”
Last night, the Prime Minister said citizens should only leave their homes for four reasons.
These are; shopping for basic necessities, doing one form of exercise a day, providing medical services, or going to work if it is absolutely vital.
He said: “These are the only reasons you should leave your home. You should not be meeting friends. If your friends ask you to meet, you should say 'No.'
“You should not be meeting family members who do not live in your home."
"If you don't follow the rules, the police will have the power to enforce them,” he added.
