AJ Pritchard: ‘What’re you even doing?’ Strictly star shouts at ‘scary’ Lauren Steadman
AJ PRITCHARD got a fright in training thanks to his Strictly Come Dancing 2018 partner Lauren Pritchard today, which saw him shout at her in an Instagram video.
Strictly: Lauren Steadman SCARES AJ Pritchard during training
AJ Pritchard and Lauren Steadman are currently gearing up for their Salsa to Liam Payne and J Balvin’s Familiar, which they will do live on Strictly Come Dancing 2018 this weekend. However, the professional dancer had seemingly been distracted by the athlete’s “scary” antics during rehearsals. The 24-year-old spoke out in an Instagram video shared with his 298,000 Instagram followers this morning.
He was heard shouting at the Paralympian, 25, as she looked through a glass door at him.
Lauren Steadman honestly scared the living bejesus out of me
With a cheesy grin, Lauren pressed her nose up at the pain while resting a hand on the screen.
“OK, today is one of them weird days, I’m just like working… yeah…” AJ started his video, as he stood in front of a mirror.
Dressed in a baseball cap, he stood out in a bright orange hooded top, black trousers and trainers.
He was heard trailing off, before moving the camera over to where his companion was stood.
“And then…” the BBC star stated, and Lauren could be seen laughing while dressed in a grey, long-sleeved top.
He went on: “But the funny thing is, I’ll have to redo but before, she honestly scared the living bejesus out of me.
“Honestly, what are you even doing?” he asked her, but thankfully the whole clip appeared to be in jest.
Just moments before, AJ had shared a snap as the pair ate breakfast in Fulham, but he did not look very happy.
“Mid week Blue’s… but I’m wearing ORANGE,” he stated, with one user telling him he looked “exhausted”.
Although, earlier this week, he and Lauren were seen joking around on the picture-sharing app.
“BEST Monday ever… #SALSA,” AJ wrote, with the image of the pulling faces quickly garnering more than 17,000 likes.
Strictly: Lauren Steadman reveals she prefers dance to athletics
It comes after Lauren’s rival Joe Sugg became the new favourite to lift the Strictly Glitterball, with her odds sitting on 20-1.
Bookmakers Coral revealed Stacey Dooley had been the favourite for five straight weeks but has now been replaced and is out to 15-8 to win the show.
“Stacey’s been our favourite for over a month now and it had looked like she had one hand on the trophy.
“However this week we have seen unbelievable support in the betting for Joe and it’s catapulted him to the top of the betting. It’s clear who punters think is in line for glory now,” a spokesperson told Express.co.uk.
Strictly Come Dancing 2018 continues tonight at 6.50pm on BBC One.
