Conor McGregor: Dana White reveals huge concern ahead of court case
CONOR MCGREGOR - Dana White has admitted he’s concerned Conor McGregor may not be allowed to re-enter the USA if he’s convicted of the charges levelled his way after the UFC 223 media day.
In April, McGregor and his friends stormed the event at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn looking for Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Upon arrival, the mob discovered Nurmagomedov was on a bus about to leave the venue and began attacking it, with McGregor throwing a dolly through one of its windows.
The former UFC lightweight champion was charged with three counts of assault and one count of criminal mischief for his antics, which left Michael Chiesa and Ray Borg with facial and eye injuries respectively.
Should McGregor be convicted of any of the charges, he could be banned from setting foot inside the USA again, a fact which worries White.
Conor McGregor Court Case: How to watch it live
"Yeah, yeah,” the UFC chief told TSN's Kara Wagland when asked if he was concerned that McGregor may not be allowed to enter America again. “That’s definitely an issue.”
McGregor, 29, will appear in court next week to answer for actions.
Ireland’s first UFC belt holder hasn’t set foot inside the Octagon since his historic UFC 205 victory over Eddie Alvarez, a triumph which saw him become the promotion’s first simultaneous two-weight world champion.

That’s definitely an issue
White is keen for McGregor’s eagerly-anticipated comeback fight to be against Nurmagomedov, his successor at the summit of the lightweight division.
However, the UFC chief has admitted the fight can’t be made until the resolution of McGregor’s court case.
"Yeah that’s the fight to make,” White said during the latest episode of the UFC Unfiltered Podcast.
“But there’s no fight to make until we figure out what happens with Conor.”
White is planning to meet McGregor before his upcoming legal proceedings but doesn't plan on discussing the Dubliner's next fight.
"I’m not expecting to hear anything from him,” White told TSN’s Kara Wagland.
“We haven’t talked since the incident.
“We’re just going to get together in a room and talk. Obviously, that’ll be before his hearing.
“So I don’t think we’re going to talk about - we’re not going to talk business.”
