Conor McGregor's head coach John Kavanagh has hinted that his most famous student's comeback fight will see him take on Khabib Nurmagomedov.
On Thursday afternoon, Kavanagh fuelled speculation that Nurmagomedov will be the man to welcome McGregor back to the Octagon by posting a video of himself watching the Dagestan native's UFC 143 fight with Gleison Tibau to his Instagram story.

Floyd Mayweather Jr has continued to fire shots at Conor McGregor.
On Wednesday night, the former five-weight world champion took aim at 'The Notorious' by bringing up his alleged involvement in a brawl at the Black Forge Pub in Crumlin in November.
Mayweather followed up that dig with two Instagram posts showing him punching McGregor during their much-maligned boxing match.
One of the accompanying captions read: "You violate and I'll demonstrate."

The UFC’s lightweight champion has officially announced his return to mixed martial arts training.

The 29-year-old made the announcement in a recent post on Instagram, which showed him standing in the locker room at Straight Blast Gym Ireland.
