And the list of men to go face-to-face with the biggest sports star on the planet can now boast the name of Sir Richard Branson.
McGregor had a playful face off with the billionaire last night at the Pendulum Summit, an event which saw him presented with a lifetime achievement award.
Moments before after receiving his latest accolade, McGregor pretended to aim a turning side kick at Branson.
Branson then attempted to cut McGregor’s expensive jumper, which prompted the Irishman to take off his top and puff out his chest towards the Virgin Group owner.

Branson followed suit, much to the delight of those in attendance at the at Dublin Convention Centre.
McGregor posted a picture of his encounter with Branson to his official Instagram page, with the accompanying caption: “Face off with Mr. Branson.
“He is not a knighted Sir on this soil.”
