CONOR MCGREGOR - Express Sport brings you the latest headlines from the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
Conor McGregor predicts ending of UFC 229 return
Conor McGregor believes he will end his UFC 229 grudge match with Khabib Nurmagomedov inside the first round.
“As long as it takes, I believe one (round). He's a glass jaw," ‘The Notorious’ said during the UFC 229 pre-fight press conference when asked what round he thinks he'll end the fight in.
"My Chechen friends, the Vainakhy soldiers, they told me that they have chicken jaws in Dagestan and I believe them. Because I know a glass jaw when I see one. And I've seen this man wobbled many times. I've seen his brother sparked unconscious in another promotion.
"I know he is afraid of smack. And if you're afraid of a smack off me, a smack will feel like a double-barrelled shotgun. So I believe inside the first. But, I have been wrong before. I will be prepared for five rounds."

Conor McGregor - Khabib Nurmagomedov makes vow
Nurmagomedov has vowed to beat McGregor into submission in their eagerly-anticipated grudge match.
"I think I'm going to make him tired and afterward play with him," the reigning lightweight champion said during the press conference.
"Because when he's tired he's always gives up. He moved to boxing and he tapped there."
After McGregor interrupted for the umpteenth time, Nurmagomedov added: "You tapped three times. Three times he tapped.
"You tapped four times, you tapped like chicken four times."
