Laver Cup 2017: When does it start? Schedule, TV times, stream details
THE LAVER CUP 2017 is the first time tennis will attempt to imitate golf’s Ryder Cup with a team format held over three days.
The two Laver Cup 2017 teams will get underway in Prague on Friday
Team Europe, captained by Bjorn Borg, will take on Team World, who have John McEnroe as their skipper.
Some of the biggest players in the world are heading to Prague for the tournament which will feature nine singles matches and three doubles matches spread over three days with each match worth points that contribute to the team’s overall score.
Named after 11-time Grand Slam champion Rod Laver, the winning captain will lift the inaugural trophy on Sunday afternoon.
When does the Laver Cup 2017 start?
The first singles match is scheduled to get underway on Friday afternoon at 1pm local time - or 12pm in the UK.

The two captains announced their picks for day one on Thursday evening with Marin Cilic matched against Frances Tiafoe, Dominic Thiem against John Isner, Alexander Zverev and Denis Shapovalov.
The doubles will see Tomas Berdych and Rafael Nadal team up against Nick Kyrgios and Jack Sock.
