Andy Murray set to play Wimbledon with brother Jamie after French Open doubles exit
Andy Murray could partner his brother Jamie in the Wimbledon doubles in July.
Andy Murray is set to play doubles at Wimbledon with his brother Jamie - unless the seven-time Grand Slam doubles champion finds a “good partner”.
The Scottish siblings led Great Britain to their 2015 Davis Cup triumph but have not played on tour together since 2019.
Now they could team up again for potentially Andy’s final appearance at SW19 before his retirement.
Asked if he will play doubles at Wimbledon, the three-time singles Major winner said: “I may do, yeah. I'm not 100 per cent sure yet. My brother doesn't have a partner for Wimbledon currently. We have spoken a little bit about it. So may do that, but not 100 per cent sure yet.
“We will make a decision, ahead of time. I mean obviously Jamie, he could also get a good partner, as well. We'll see what happens, but yeah, we'll probably decide in the next few days probably.”

Andy Murray, 37, last played doubles at Wimbledon in 2019 on his comeback from hip surgery when he paired up with Frenchman Pierre-Hugues Herbert in the men’s and Serena Williams in the mixed doubles.
Jamie Murray, who has lifted two Wimbledon mixed doubles titles, won his first round match here with his current Kiwi partner Michael Venus but they will split after the French Open.
Wildcards Andy and Dan Evans lost in the opening round of the doubles 7-6 7-6 to Brazilian Thiago Seyboth Wild and Argentine Sebastian Baez in the late afternoon rain after more weather delays on Friday.
Murray lost in the singles on Sunday and delayed the start of his grass-court training by staying here. “I don't regret playing at all,” he said.
Both men could still play the Olympics doubles here at Roland Garros while Andy and Stan Wawrinka are set to get wildcards into the singles.

But No.6 seed Andrey Rublev smashed his racquet in frustration as he lost 7-6 6-2 6-4 to Italian world No.35 Matteo Arnaldi.
“I don't remember behaving worse in a Slams ever,” said the Russian. “I think it was the first time I ever behaved that bad.”
