Bjorn Borg makes Roger Federer admission on final day of the Laver Cup
BJORN BORG has admitted even Roger Federer might not be good enough to help Team Europe win the Laver Cup.
The Europe captain has sent Federer out for the opening two matches on the final day in Chicago.
First he partners Alexander Zverev in the doubles to take on Jack Sock and John Isner.
Federer will then stay on court to face big-serving American Isner in a singles match straight after.
Team Europe are 7-5 up going into the final day and they need to win two of the remaining four matches to retain the title.
Asked if it was the right move to send out Federer, Borg said: "I think we made a good decision anyway.
"Either way how you put the guys it's going to be tough anyway.
"It's going to be an interesting day with four tough matches and anything can happen. I hope it goes our way."
With three points available for a win on Sunday, Europe go into it knowing they need two victories from the four matches.
Meanwhile Team World must find three wins to pass the 13 point-mark that will secure the trophy.
