LEBRON JAMES may not have started pre-season for the Los Angeles Lakers yet, but he put on a show at his son’s AAU game - watch the video below.
LeBron James shows off impressive dunking skills
James has made it a personal mission to be heavily involved in his son’s, LeBron ‘Bronny’ James Jr., basketball career and is often seen coaching from the sidelines.
He is often spotted in the stands and getting emotionally invested in the games, whether it be ranting at officials or getting up off his seat to cheer on his eldest son.
The three-time NBA champion opted to skip this week’s Team USA training camp, instead he has been spotted watching his son’s grassroots team in action in Las Vegas.
And for the high-schoolers in attendance were treated to a show from James during the warm-up.
It’s the first glimpse of James playing since opting to join the Lakers in free agency, and he certainly didn’t disappoint.
The 33-year-old proved he still has plenty in the locker by throwing down an array of different dunks to entertain the crowd.
James announced a television deal with HBO this week for his new talk show “The Shop”, beginning August 28.
And in a clip released on Thursday, he opened up about naming his eldest son and the expectations ‘Bronny’ faces due to his name.
“I still regret giving my 14-year-old [LeBron James Jr.] my name because of that,” he said.
“When I was younger, I didn’t have a dad, so my whole thing was when I have a kid, not only is he gonna be a junior, I’m gonna do everything that this man didn’t do.
“They’re gonna experience things that I didn’t experience.
“The only thing I can do is give them the blueprint, and it’s up to them to take their own course whenever that time comes.”
