NBA Playoffs: Warriors ace Kevin Durant similar to Michael Jordan - Iguodala’s HUGE claim
KEVIN DURANT’s Game 4 performance in the Golden State Warriors’ win over the New Orleans Pelicans was similar to NBA legend Michael Jordan.

Widely regarded as the best basketball player of all time, six-time champion and five-time MVP Jordan remains an icon for the 14 years he spent with the Chicago Bulls across two years.
And Iguodala believes Durant’s spectacular display in the latest post-season game of their Eastern Conference semi-finals with the Pelicans was similar to that of Jordan.
Durant posted 38 points on 15-for-27 shooting, alongside nine rebounds and five assists, as he helped the Warriors cruise to a 118-92 victory at Smoothie King Center.
Only Jordan and LeBron James have racked up more 30-point post-season games before the age of 30 than Durant, this his 51st.

He kind of reminded me of MJ. I don’t like to make that comparison but he got to his spots and there’s nothing you can do about it.
And Durant’s dominant all-round performance was even good enough to see him compared to arguably the sport’s most famous ever player by his Golden State team-mate.
“KD? He was just KD,” Iguodala reflected to reports after Game 4.
“He got to his spots, got to his shot. He kind of reminded me of like 90s basketball, when you’ve got to score and they get the ball, take one dribble, get to their spot and defence can’t do anything about it.

“When you see that look on his face, it carries over to the rest of the guys and in turn we take that to our defensive end, get stops and go back and do the same thing.
“The mentality was right.”
The Warriors can wrap up the series in Game 5 on Wednesday (3.30am UK time).
