Steph Curry injury update: Steve Kerr drops huge hint when Warriors star will return
STEPH CURRY is currently out injured for the Golden State Warriors and Steve Kerr has moved to clear up his expected return.
Steve Kerr has revealed Steph Curry isn't out for another three weeks
Curry has been out of action since mid-March after suffering a Grade 2 MCL sprain in his left knee.
The early prognosis was that he would miss the entire first round of the playoffs with the hope he could return for the Western Conference semi-finals.
But there was some confusion earlier this week when it was reported Kerr had suggested Curry suffered a setback in his rehabilitation and would miss a further three weeks.
That would all-but rule him out of the next round and raise doubts over whether he would be fit enough to play in the latter stages of the playoffs.
However, Kerr insists the report was purely down to “miscommunication”.
“It was probably a miscommunication when we met before the game,” he said.
“We don’t have any timetable for this.
“I’m not exactly sure what that was about.”

Golden State are currently 2-0 up in their series against the San Antonio Spurs having defended home court comfortably.
But tonight’s game will be an emotional one for both teams after news broke yesterday that Gregg Popovich’s wife, Erin Popovich, had passed away aged 67.
Popovich will not take charge of the game this evening. Instead Ettore Messina will coach Game 3.
