Mo Farah to hear European Championship verdict this week
MO FARAH is set to make his comeback at the European Championships if British Athletics head of endurance Barry Fudge gives him the go ahead this week.
Farah, who pulled out of the Commonwealth Games at the last minute because he felt he was not fit enough after severe stomach problems, is altitude training at Font Romeu in France.
The Europeans begin in Zurich a week today and the plan is for Farah to fly in on Monday if he is given the okay by Fudge.
Fudge, as head of sports science at British Athletics, has worked with Farah for years as a key part of his back-up team before being appointed head of endurance last year.
He will make a judgement with Farah's coach Alberto Salazar on whether he runs for Britain in the 5,000m and 10,000m at the Europeans.
At the moment the likelihood is that Farah will do both events.
