Mo Farah stays far away
MO FARAH will stay in America as late as possible to avoid the hype that will dominate his bid for Olympic gold next summer.
Farah ends his amazing year on the banks of the River Tyne today when he runs over two miles for Britain against the USA in the Great City Games – and the reception will be immense for the new world 10,000metres champion.
But Farah is aware of the expectations that will now be on him for London 2012 and believes being based in Oregon will work in his favour.
He said: “I am away from everything else in the USA, which is a good thing. I will stay there as long as I can.”
