After losing homeport advantage with a disappointing Game 2 loss, the Raptors were aiming to take it straight back in their first NBA Finals game at the Oracle Arena in Game 3.
They were given a boost with Klay Thompson being ruled out due to a hamstring injury he suffered in the fourth quarter of Game 2.
With Kevon Looney and Kevin Durant also out, the Warriors were entering the game as surprise underdogs.
Still, the Oracle is widely regarded as one of the most intimidating arenas in the NBA, particularly in playoff basketball.
That meant the Raptors needed to be locked in from the outset, with Leonard likely to play a key role.
As the Toronto players made their way to the court at the start of the game, Norman Powell looked to the All-Star for some love.
He stuck out a fist, for what seemed like an eternity on the clip, before Leonard walked straight past him, pointing for him to concentrate on walking to the court.
Powell clearly felt disrespected by the snub as he shared some words with Leonard as they made their way to the court.
And NBA fans on Twitter couldn't help but feel for Powell over the brutal snub.
One fan tweeted: "Kawhi, the Fun Guy and the Savage Guy. Poor Powell."
Another posted: "This dude Kawhi has to be a robot I swear."
