NBA All Star Game 2019: James Harden reveals Team LeBron James concern
NBA ALL STAR action is underway and James Harden revealed a concern ahead of the match.
The Houston Rockets star has been in fine form this season and is on quite a scoring streak.
Harden has scored 30-plus-points in 31 successive regular season games but he isn’t sure that will continue tonight.
Team LeBron take on Team Giannis in Charlotte as the best in NBA take on one another.
“Does it count? I hope it doesn't count! I'm on a minutes restriction!” Harden joked.
“Nah, I just want to win, that's all that matters. We'll have a good time and put on a show for these fans and get a win.”
Harden is averaging 36.6 points, 6.7 rebounds and 7.7 assists per game in an incredible campaign so far.
And he is focused on trying to win back-to-back MVP awards.
“It's been that way for the last four or five years,” he said.
“That's when you know you are at that elite level where you are in that [MVP] conversation.
James Harden: Nothing can slow me down or stop me
“I want to be there until I can't play any more.”
Harden also revealed he enjoys All Star weekend and a break from the regular season.
“It's fun,” he said.
“In season, you're locked in and you're so competitive so to be around all these guys is like a little relief, just for the weekend.”
