The Lakers lost 143-120 against Philadelphia 76ers just days after Rondo scored a last second winner against Boston Celtics.
Bullock was one of two signings Walton’s side added before last week’s trade deadline, joining from Detroit Pistons.
And he want straight into the side which were thrashed by the Sixers.
Walton explained after the heavy defeat that he will be mixing it up with who he starts at point guard for the rest of the season.
“A little bit of both,” Walton said.
“They started pretty big team over there so part of it was that.
“Part of it was we wanted to get Reggie going as quickly as possible in the mix.”
But supporters were raging that Rondo was dropped, especially so soon after his match-winning performance.
“I don’t get it, why mess up the flow with Rondo!” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“Bullock wasn’t ready. Check the second play of the game him and Kuz run the same direction!
“He doesn’t know the system yet. Let him get to know the system first before putting him out there like that! #cmonluke!”
And another added: “Rondo has played well and in my opinion he's there second best player.

“This is inexcusable. Sends a bad message to all players on the team to start a guy thats been there one day over an established leader."

And some supporters were even more enraged as they called for Walton to be sacked.
“This goes further into why he should be fired,” one fan added.
“I’m mean for real. @RajonRondo hits game winner yet new acquisition starts hmm.”
