JIMMY BULTER’S future is up in the air on NBA trade deadline day - and the Philadelphia 76ers star has got fans worried with a cryptic tweet.
NBA: The Lakers should look to sign Butler says pundit
Butler is the 76ers’ star man but only joined the team in November.
He agreed a deal with Philadelphia after securing a move away from the Minnesota Timberwolves.
But his contract expires at the end of the season, meaning Philadelphia risk losing him to free agency.
Most Philly fans would like Butler to stay following his impressive stint at the Wells Fargo Center so far.

He’s averaging 18.9 points per game with the 76ers - his lowest average since the 2014/15 season - but fans hope his potential will shine through.
A number of teams are said to be interested in Butler if indeed he did become a free agent in the summer.
Yet the small forward has hinted that his eventual decision on a team may not be in his hands.
Tweeting on trade deadline day, he wrote: “life is 10 per cent what happens to you, and 90 per cent how you react to it.”
Some fans have interpreted the message as a suggestion he may not get to choose his next team.
One fan wrote: “Are you tryna announce a trade or?”
Another put: “Please re-sign”.
A third tweeted: “jimmy please don’t scare me’
And a fourth wrote: “Oh s***, hear we go!”
Jimmy Butler to make 76ers one of the best in the east says Rose
The 76ers sit fifth in the Eastern Conference heading into today’s trade deadline.
They have already secured a major deal this winter with Tobias Harris, Mike Scott and Boban Marjanovic arriving from the Clippers.
That saw LA pick up Wilson Chandler, Mike Muscala and Landry Shamet - plus a host of draft picks.
It has also been claimed that the 76ers may have to let Butler go after acquiring Harris and his ex-LA team-mates.
The Nets have been mooted as a possible destination for Butler if he did end up a free agent.
It is claimed both he and Boston Celtics' Kyrie Irving could end up in Brooklyn before the 2019/20 season begins.
