NBA news: Kevin Durant leaving the Warriors has left one pundit confused for THIS reason
KEVIN DURANT will not leave the Golden State Warriors, because he has the ‘best life’ with the west coast franchise.
That is according to NBA pundit Marc J.Spears.
Durant - who is a free agent as of next summer - has been linked with a move to the cash-rich New York Knicks.
While Durant has been a cornerstone of the success of the current NBA champions the Warriors, an exit has never been far away from the lips of those involved in the game.
Other reports have suggested that Durant could team up with the Toronto Raptors star Kawhi Leonard at the Los Angeles Clippers in 2019.
But Spears isn’t buying the trade rumours surrounding Durant.
“He’s living his best life in San Francisco,” Spears said on The Jump.
“He will get closer to all the tech people and he loves that industry as well.”
Fellow pundit Jorge Sedano also doesn’t envisage Durant quitting the Warriors anytime soon.

“I’m saying nothing on this,” Sedano said.
“KD is probably going to change his mind a million times over.
“That’s just who he is.
“I don’t blame him, because any normal human being would feel like that.

“So I’m nothing on this.”
After falling to a 127-101 defeat to the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday, the Warriors will be eager to bounce back against the Trail Blazers tonight at 7.30pm PT (3.30am UK time).
Despite their loss to the Lakers, the Warriors still top the Western Conference and they hold a 23-12 record.
