Anthony Davis: Giannis Antetokounmpo battles LeBron James in war of trade words
ANTHONY DAVIS is wanted by most franchises in the NBA and Giannis Antetokounmpo has tried to tempt the power forward to join him at Milwaukee Bucks.

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James said earlier this week that it would be “incredible” if his side could acquire Davis.
But Antetokounmpo has also jumped on the bandwagon by trying to convince the Pelicans star to move to his team.
The Bucks beat the Pelicans 123-115 yesterday and Davis top-scored with 27 points.
However, after the match Antetokounmpo approached the 25-year-old with a gleaming smile, shook his hand and muttered “come to the Bucks, man.”
Davis did not react but must now face a trade dilemma if he is to leave the Pelicans.
And their head coach, Alvin Gentry, knows he is in for a fight to keep hold of his star man.
“We’re not trading him,” Gentry said before the game.
“I can say that to the world. We’re not gonna trade him, no matter what.

“That’s not an option. It doesn’t matter what anybody says or does. We’re not trading Anthony Davis.
“And they’re not trading Giannis.”
Pelicans ace Jrue Holiday also acknowledged his side’s battle to keep hold of their leading scorer.
“I mean, everybody wants to [have Davis on their team],” Holiday said.
“I don’t know anybody who doesn’t. To us, he’s our franchise player. He’s top three in
“Nah [it’s not distracting]. I feel like, y’all hear it. We don’t really hear it.
“The only teams I know about is Boston and the Lakers.
“But again, we don’t really pay attention to that.”
