LeBron James having to play like Kobe for Lakers says Elhassan
LeBron is often put alongside Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan when it comes to the best player of all time.
There are few that agree who is the best with each of the trio having many fans.
LeBron has three NBA Championships while Bryant won five during a glittering career.
Jordan won six as he dominated the NBA with Chicago Bulls, being named Finals MVP every time he won.
But rapper Lil Wayne believes it’s Bryant over both LeBron and Jordan.
"These days they think the tough question is Jordan or LeBron,” Wayne said.
“No. Jordan or Kobe is the tough question.
"Lord, forgive me. Jordan, forgive me. But it's Kobe."
LeBron is currently starring for the Los Angeles Lakers having joined the side in the summer.
Bryant is a Lakers legend having won each of his five rings with the franchise.
And the 40-year-old recently sent a clear message to LeBron James over the 33-year-old’s place in Los Angeles Lakers history.
And he’s outlined how the need for the collective to be successful comes above the status of the individual.
"My impact on this organisation is to look forward," Bryant told Barstool Sports’ The Corp podcast.
"If I’ve taught this fan base anything, it’s that we want excellence. We want championships.
"It’s about the purple and gold. It’s not about one player.
"I came in here and Magic [Johnson] embraced me with open arms.
"As did Kareem [Abdul-Jabbar] and [James] Worthy and everybody else; Jerry West, Elgin [Baylor] and all those guys.
"It’s our responsibility to do the same thing for the next generation that comes in.
"I take that stuff deadly serious. It’s like: 'No. Guys, we need more championships.'"
