LeBron James and Dwyane Wade embrace after dramatic ending to final Lakers-Heat game
LEBRON JAMES and Dwyane Wade put on a show for the packed out Staples Center on Monday night.
For the final time, the former team-mates squared off against each other, before Wade retires at the end of the season.
The game itself, which the Lakers won 108-105, went right down to the wire.
With just under a minute to go, the Lakers were up by one point, before James turned on the style and managed to open up a three point lead.
Then, with just seconds remaining, the Heat had one final possession to try and take the game into overtime.
Incredibly, James marked Wade on the final play, as the veteran attempted a three-pointer to tie up the game.
With just one second remaining, James gained the ball and chucked it out into the middle of the court, securing the win.
As he did so, Wade jokingly threw his arms around his former team-mate and dragged him off the court.
The pair then embraced in a hug, before speaking off-court.
James and Wade had publicly agreed to swap jerseys after the game, which they then proceeded to do.

It was the final time the pair, who won back-to-back NBA titles together in 2012 and 2013, would grace the court at the same time.
Their relationship came long before their time at Miami, however.

They were both part of the ‘class of 2003’, meaning they were drafted into the NBA at the same time.
Ironically, also in that class was Lakers’ head coach Luke Walton.
Wade revealed that on Sunday night, ahead of the game, the pair had met up to share a bottle of wine and reminisce about their time playing together.
