Dwyane Wade honoured with tribute video during last game against LeBron James - Watch
DWYANE WADE was honoured with a video tribute on the big screen as he played against LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers for the final time.
Wade is in his final year in the NBA, as he prepares to retire at the end of the season.
He has spent 14 out of his 16 seasons in the league with the Heat, and for four of them he was joined by James.
The pair won back-to-back NBA titles in 2012 and 2013 together, and were reunited in Cleveland for the 2017-18 season.
Now share a court for the last time.
To mark the occasion, the Lakers produced a commemorative video for the star, reflecting on his career.
Wade was drafted in the same year as James, as well as Lakers head coach Luke Walton.
And that moment was prominent in the video, as it showed the shooting guard being selected by Miami.

Despite the message, Wade appeared positive before the game that it would not be the final time the two sides meet this year.
Perhaps jokingly, the Heat star claimed he wanted the two teams to square off in the NBA Finals.
“There’s been so many matches against each other and this is our last one,” he said.
“Hopefully something amazing happens whereby we end up in the Finals each other.
“As you see, the record is 15-15 and we’ve had amazing moments against each other.
“Each game has gone down to the wire and we’ve enjoyed each one of them.
”I look forward to the respective match ups and each guy wants to play well.”
