NBA news: Steph Curry verdict delivered by Kevin Durant after Warriors beat Cavs
STEPH CURRY has found it relatively straightforward to get back into his usual mode for the Golden State Warriors.
That is the verdict of Warriors team-mate Kevin Durant, who produced another superb display on the floor in an 129-105 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Curry - who was 9-of-14 from the three-point range - weighed in with 42 as he top scored for the Warriors.
Durant made a meaty contribution, providing 25 points and 10 rebounds.
Although Curry had missed 11 games with a groin injury, his return has seen an upturn in fortunes for the Warriors.
And Durant reckons Curry is playing as if he hasn’t been away.
When asked for his thoughts on Curry’s display, Durant said: “We expect after a few days, two weeks off in his case and be himself.
“He feels the same way.
“He’s trying to pick up from where he left off.
He feels the same way. He’s trying to pick up from where he left off
“On the offense, Steph is trying to go on big three-point rounds and make screens.
“He’s encouraging us to be aggressive.
“He can just do that, pick up from where he left off.”

The victory was their eighth straight win over their former NBA Finals rivals.
It was also Warriors’ first visit to Cleveland since June.
The Warriors’ record for the season now stands at 17-9.
