Kevin Durant reveals why Warriors keep losing - 'That's the way to get beat'
KEVIN DURANT believes the Golden State Warriors are on a four-match losing streak because of their poor shooting.
The reigning NBA champions’ barren run has seen them fall to fifth in the Western Conference, with the worst form in the West.
Controversy has embroiled the franchise in recent weeks, with star players Kevin Durant and Draymond Green falling out in a loss to the LA Clippers two weeks ago.
After Durant lambasted Green for wasting a late possession, the pair engaged in a shouting match with the latter reportedly saying: “We don’t need you. We won without you. Leave.”

The power forward received criticism for the “easy” switch, but has won two NBA championships since, claiming Finals MVP in both victories.
The 30-year-old has taken exception to being asked about the incident with Green, however, for which his team-mate was issued a one-game ban from Warriors executives.
Green has told reporters to not ask him about the incident and reacted angrily to rowdy fans in Dallas, at whom he swore.
The ostensibly fractious relations within the roster have been exacerbated with Steph Curry’s absence.

The point guard, renowned for his efficient three-point shooting, is out with an adductor injury and will miss at least the next three games.
The Warriors lost 123-95 to Durant’s former side, Thunder, last night and Durant was asked to put his finger on why his team are enduring such a rough patch.
“We aren’t scoring the ball well,” he told the media.
“It’s tough for us to find a rhythm right now, scoring it.
“Ninety-five points… We don’t really want that - we’re not shooting the ball well, all of us.”
The Warriors kept in touch with Thunder in the first quarter, but the floodgates eventually opened as their opposition dominated the ball.
“I think our defence was solid at the start of the game, but after a while those shots don’t fall,” Durant continued.
“And they shot 23 more shots than us - that’s the way to get beat.”
When asked how the side will turn it around, Durant replied: “It’s not just gonna happen, we’ve got to make it happen.
“But it’s not just going to pop out of nowhere and get better for us.”
“We rely so much on everybody on this team, it’s like you take a piece out and you can see the difference.”
