LeBron James admission
LeBron James says he was dared to shoot a three pointer to finish the game off against the Miami Heat - by his Los Angeles Lakers team-mate Lance Stephenson.
The 33-year-old dropped 51 points on his old side Miami in a 113-97 win, with James hitting a three pointer with 17 seconds remaining to kill off the game.
James then pointed at Stephenson on the Lakers bench, who dared him to take the three to get 50 points.
“Lance told me to finish the game off and ‘I bet you won’t shoot a three’,” James said to reporters after the Lakers' win.

“He said ‘Go for the three, I bet you won’t go for it’. So I went for the three.
“That’s why I was pointing right at Lance.”
When asked if he thinks it’s smart to do everything Stephenson tells him to do, James replied: “That’s my guy. We’re on the same side now [laughs].”
James and the Lakers will now turn their attention to the Cleveland Cavaliers, another one of the small forward’s former sides.
Kevin Durant to Lakers development
Golden State Warriors superstar Kevin Durant has shown no signs he wants to be traded.
The 30-year-old has been linked with a move away from Golden State following his bust-up with team-mate Draymond Green, with the Lakers, the New York Knicks and the Brooklyn Nets all potential landing spots.
However, The Athletic's Sam Amick caims Durant has “shown no interest in wanting to be traded and remains focused on the championship chance that lies before them."
"We've got a three-peat upon us," the source told The Athletic.
Steph Curry talks Golden State’s struggles
Steph Curry has admitted it’s tough to watch Golden State struggle while he’s injured.
Curry has missed the Warriors’ last six games, with Golden State losing three in a row - as well as Kevin Durant and Draymond Green having a bust-up.
And Warriors star Curry says it’s hard to watch his team-mates struggle without him.
“It's been different. It's been tough,” he said. “Obviously it sucks not being able to play.
Kevin Durant is going to leave Golden State says Chris Broussard
“It sucks when you're not with the team when something like that happens.
“But I think the way we've handled it as a team, the way Draymond's handled it, the way KD's handled it, it's been nothing but professionalism and understanding that it's about the team.
“And the conversations that we've all had, whether it's one-on-one, as a team, is keeping that in mind.
“We have the opportunity to do something extremely special this year.
“There's going to be ups and downs and bumps in the road, whether it's self-inflicted or whether it's from outside.”
