Will Steph Curry play tonight against the Hawks?
Curry will not play against the Hawks.
Despite not considering the injury to be serious, the Warriors are not including him in their team tonight.
It remains possible that the Warriors could recall Curry for Thursday night’s game against the Houston Rockets.
What has Head Coach Steve Kerr said?
Kerr has moved to reassure fans that Curry will not be out of action for too long.
“He’s doing OK,” he said.
“It’s a tricky injury, he’s never had a groin injury before.
“The MRI was encouraging and didn’t appear to be anything dramatic.
“But the MRI doesn’t always tell the story.
“You have to go on symptoms.”
Kerr gave an insight into Curry’s mental condition, and admitted that being on the sidelines is getting to him.
“It’s frustrating for him,” Kerr said.
“He’s had such a great start to the year.
“It’s a new injury for him.
“We have to make sure he’s fully healthy before we bring him back out here.”
