Man Utd transfer news: Gennaro Gattuso offers Leonardo Bonucci boost
MANCHESTER UNITED transfer target Leonardo Bonucci hasn't yet committed his future to AC Milan.
Leonardo Bonucci scores SENSATIONAL goal for Milan
The Italian only joined the San Siro outfit last summer as the club broke the bank in an attempt to challenge for the Serie A title.
Bonucci's arrival from Juventus failed to secure Milan any silverware and has seen the club fall into financial trouble.
United are reportedly hoping to take advantage of the ongoing crisis at the Italian outfit.
And manager Gennaro Gattuso handed the Red Devils a boost on Friday by revealing Bonucci may yet leave this summer.
We will wait and see because he is an important player that we want to keep at all costs
"Leo is a great professional and an incredible player, and at the moment we have to listen to what he and the other players say," he told reporters.
"We have to respect the choices of the players.
"Obviously he wants to win but we also want to win.
"We will wait and see because he is an important player that we want to keep at all costs."
Milan were facing expulsion from all European competitions before the Court of Arbitration for Sport overturned the ban on Friday.
As for United, Jose Mourinho is still trying to add to his ranks this summer.
The Premier League runners-up have already signed Fred, Diogo Dalot and Lee Grant in recent weeks.
Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld has also been linked with a big-money move to Old Trafford.
