Liverpool transfer news: Jurgen Klopp told Barcelona deal won't help him for one reason
LIVERPOOL boss Jurgen Klopp has been warned against signing Barcelona goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen by former Premier League stopper Shaka Hislop.

Klopp could be on the lookout for a new goalkeeper before the Premier League season starts next month.
Simon Mignolet fell out of favour last term and Loris Karius memorably had a Champions League final to forget.
Netherlands international Cillessen has been linked with a move to Anfield to potentially become Liverpool’s No 1.
But Hislop does not think the Barcelona man is good enough to solve the Reds’ goalkeeping problems.
I just don’t see Cillessen as being the answer to that problem for Liverpool
“I don’t like this, it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense,” he told ESPN FC.
“I think Liverpool have the makings of a very good team. I think they need an outstanding goalkeeper.
“They need to splash the cash and get a big name in-between the sticks. I’m sorry, I just don’t think Cillessen is that.
“There are others out there who I think they will be better served by.

“It will take some work in terms of dealing with agents, it will take a whole lot of money, but I think there are keepers they can get that will serve them well in the long term, a couple in the short term that may be more reasonable.
“I just don’t see Cillessen as being the answer to that problem for Liverpool.”
Cillessen has made just two La Liga appearances for Barcelona since joining from Ajax in 2016.
