Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus: Latest update over Real Madrid star's transfer plans
CRISTIANO RONALDO is interested in quitting Real Madrid for Juventus, reports claim.
Juventus sensationally emerged as a possible destination for Cristiano Ronaldo over the weekend.
The Portugal international is understood to be seeking an exit from Real Madrid after a tax investigation in Spain strained his relationship with the club.
Few sides in world football can afford Ronaldo’s £385,000-a-week wages.
But Juventus supposedly reckon they can offer him £500,000 a week over a four-year contract.
Both Tuttosport and Marca claim talks between the two camps have taken place over a transfer that would cost around £100m.

And now Portuguese newspaper A Bola report that Ronaldo himself is receptive to the move.
According to the front page of Portugal’s leading sports newspaper, Ronaldo is ready to call it quits in Madrid and head to Turin.
It was thought a move back to Manchester United was on Ronaldo’s agenda.
But the offer from Juve - and the chance to shine in Serie A - may prove too enticing for the 33-year-old to turn down.
Juventus themselves are plugging away with their transfer business, with Emre Can having signed as a free agent from Liverpool this summer.
Miralem Panic may be sold to Barcelona, while Juve CEO Beppe Marotta has supposedly ended his pursuit of Lazio sensation Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
There are claims Marotta is eyeing a swap deal between Gonzalo Higuain and Chelsea’s Alvaro Morata.
However, a move for Ronaldo may put all other transfers on ice.
