Liverpool transfer news: More arrivals predicted following Fabinho signing
LIVERPOOL still need to make several more signings this summer after the arrival of Fabinho from Monaco.
That is the opinion of ESPN FC pundit and former Major League Soccer star Alejandro Moreno.
Liverpool announced the signing of Fabinho last night, with the Brazilian penning a long-term contract.
He is set to cost the Reds an initial £43.7million and will officially join the club on July 1.
Moreno believes the signing of Fabinho is a good addition for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
We know there are other areas where Liverpool should pay attention to
But he admits there are still other positions that need to be improved.
“He gives you depth, he gives you flexibility, it’s a step forward for Liverpool," Moreno said on ESPN FC.
“But we know there are other areas where Liverpool should pay attention to.
"This is only step one I suppose.
Tony Cascarino: Liverpool should be VERY excited about Fabinho
“But certainly there are other things that Stevie Nicol (Liverpool legend) is anxious to make sure that this team gets right.
“Fabinho is only one piece of what I think is going to be a few other pieces coming in.”
Liverpool have been linked with a move for Roma goalkeeper Alisson and Lyon midfielder Nabil Fekir.
