Mohamed Salah: Liverpool star questioned over injury, World Cup and Real Madrid plans
LIVERPOOL star Mohamed Salah may be fit for the World Cup in Russia after refusing to rule out playing for Egypt this summer.
Mo Salah IGNORES Spanish reporter as he rushes through airport
Liverpool forward Salah hobbled out of the Reds’ Champions League final with Real Madrid at the weekend with a shoulder injury.
Sergio Ramos collided with the Egypt international, consequently plunging Salah’s World Cup in doubt.
The Liverpool star will be his country’s talisman going into the tournament - if he can make it in time.
But he was giving nothing sway when ambushed by a reporter for Spanish TV at an airport today.
La Sexta published footage of Salah being bombarded with questions from a reporter.
But the player refused to verbally reply - only at one point did he even seem to react to the questioning.
Will you play at the World Cup? Are you ready?
The journalist jumped Salah as he was walking with a suitcase and asked: “Will you play at the World Cup? Are you ready? Do you expect to start the World Cup?”
Salah then moved his head from side to side, suggesting there is still doubt over his World Cup dreams.
The questioning continued, without reply.
“Do you think that Ramos injured you intentionally in the Champions League final?” the journalist said.
“Is it possible for you to play at Real Madrid next year?
“How are you? A lot of people worry about you and your injury.”
Eventually Salah walked off.

The clip of Salah strolling around comes after Liverpool’s physiotherapist Ruben Pons opened up on his condition.
“We knew that it was something serious as soon as [Salah] fell on the ground because he never complains, we were afraid of the worst,” he told Spanish daily newspaper Marca.
“We were in the field until the break, I was devastated, I tried to transmit calmness, I told him that nothing could be done and that he did not worry too much, it was time to look for solutions and not to regret because things did not work.
"We were watching the game, we were looking at social networks and the security was telling us the result, Madrid has scored, we equalised.
“When we came back, the game was over, the whole team had changed and prepared for riding the team bus, we helped him change because he could not do it alone and we went to the airport.
“Once we knew the injury we planned the treatment, he is sad about what happened but he is totally focused on recovery and seeing when he can be ready.
“He is going to mark the recovery times, in principle it will be from three to four weeks but we are going to try to reduce those deadlines, that’s the big goal.”
Salah scored 44 goals for Liverpool across all competitions last season following his arrival from Roma.
