Real Madrid face Barcelona this Saturday in their first meeting since the Spanish Super Cup earlier this season.
Real Madrid ran out big winners over two legs but they have toiled in La Liga since.
Barcelona have opened up a six point gap at the top and lead Madrid by a staggering 11 points - although they have a game in hand.
Florentino Perez is keen for Gareth Bale to play on Saturday following his heroics at the Club World Cup.
And Cristiano Ronaldo wants Bale to play in place of Isco due to his on-going dispute with the Spain international.

But Diario Gol claim Isco is ready to throw a tantrum and will cause chaos in the dressing room if not picked from the start.
Isco starred for Real last season after Bale’s injury left him on the sidelines and helped them win the Champions League.
And he believes he deserves to keep his spot in the side after the last few months.
The Spain star has started 12 times in La Liga this season, coming off the bench on three occasions.
But Zinedine Zidane now has a big decision to make with pressure being put on him to play Bale.
Madrid would essentially be out of the title race with a defeat and need something special to win the game.
Victory, and winning their game in hand, would close the gap to five points before the winter break leaving it all to play for.
