Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is seeking a £500m investment
It has emerged Russian billionaire Abramovich is not interested in selling any of his stake in Chelsea.
But the oligarch is keen to bring in investors to help fund Chelsea’s stadium project.
Chelsea have planning permission to expand their Stamford Bridge home but supposedly need help funding the project.
The Sun claim Abramovich has held talks with Far East investors over how they can help pump money into the club.
Officials met with the proposed backers last week and talks surrounded a commercial deal to help finance the stadium.
The Sun claim the businessmen involved are willing to spend half a billion pounds ‘to be part of the London club’s future at their new home’.
The investment would in effect be a loan, with the businessmen able to get their money back.
