Arsenal taunted by Kenny Dalglish: They are the only team in big six to have got worse
LIVERPOOL legend Kenny Dalglish believes Arsenal are the only team out of the so-called ‘big six’ that have failed to become stronger over the last few years.
Gerrard, Lineker and Lampard give PL title predictions
Arsenal haven’t won the Premier League since the 2003/04 season and Arsene Wenger has come in for plenty of criticism in the last two campaigns with fans calling for him to go.
While the Gunners did win the FA Cup last season for a record 13th time, Dalglish feels the north London side have fallen behind their rivals.
Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United have all dominated the Premier League title between them since 2013 - albeit for Leicester’s fairytale triumph - despite United having struggled initially when Sir Alex Ferguson retired.
Tottenham have come a long way since Mauricio Pochettino took charge with the north London club now considered title challengers and back in the Champions League, while Liverpool are also back in European’s elite competition with Jurgen Klopp at the helm.
Kenny Dalglish believes Arsenal are the only team to have not made their side stronger
You have the Manchester teams, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham; apart from Arsenal all the teams are stronger than a few years ago.
“The days when one team wins everything in the Premier League are gone,” Dalglish told the Daily Mail.
“You’ll always have five or six in there and success will move about.

Arsene Wenger's Arsenal have not won the Premier League title since 2004
Liverpool take on United this Saturday (12.30pm) and despite both clubs not being the dominant forces they once were in English football, Dalglish insists the rivalry will never diminish.
He added: “The clubs now have a far greater standing and are much bigger corporations than when Fergie first came in at United.
“The game has moved on and they’ve not stayed where they were, they’ve got bigger; that growth goes alongside the competitiveness and rivalry. I don’t think it will diminish at all.”
