Peter Crouch scored a controversial handball goal for Stoke against Arsenal
The former England international grabbed Stoke's only goal of the game during their 4-1 defeat to Arsenal, diverting Marko Arnautovic's cross home with his arm.
Crouch wheeled away in celebration with no hint of guilt, but later admitted the ball had hit his hand as he outjumped Gunners defender Shkodran Mustafi.
Twitter wasted no time at all in compaering the 36-year-old with Argentinian legend Diego Maradona, who infamously scored with his hand against England during the 1986 World Cup.
