RIO FERDINAND says the result was the most important thing in Manchester United's game with Celta Vigo tonight.

Manchester United drew 1-1 with Celta in their Europa League semi-final second leg at Old Trafford.
That meant the Red Devils went through to the final 2-1 on aggregate and will play Ajax after they overcame Lyon, but they will do so without Eric Bailly after he was given a straight red card late on for a push on John Guidetti.
Vigo had 62 per cent possession in the game but Ferdinand only cares about the result.

"There won't be one player in that changing room thinking 'we didn't play particularly well today, they dominated possession'," he said on BT Sport.
"No, 'we are in the final and we've got an opportunity to get our hands on silverware'.
"That's all that matters.
