But Mourinho said after the Swansea game that United’s exhaustive fixture schedule means he is not expecting to reach the Europa League final.
"For me, the next game is always a big game,” he said.
“We go with everything we have; obviously I was joking when I said I was training to play on Thursday, but it doesn’t matter who plays.
“They give everything, so I always trust them.

"We give everything. When you give everything, you can’t do any more, so for sure we’re going to give everything.
“With one more day to rest than from Thursday night to Sunday morning, we have one day more.
“It’s a little bit more human, if you can say that, and for sure we’re going to give everything.
“It doesn’t matter about the result or if we go to the final or not, I’m really happy with the personality and character of these guys.”
