Liverpool took a huge leap forwards in the race for a top four finish at the weekend with a 2-1 win over Stoke while Arsenal dropped points.
Jurgen Klopp's side are currently six points ahead of Manchester United in fifth but the Old Trafford outfit have two games in hand.
Liverpool were without Champions League football this season for the fifth time in the last six years.

Klopp led Liverpool to the brink of Europa League glory last term, only to be beaten by Sevilla in the final.
But the Liverpool boss insists he won't be happy with anything less than Champions League football to return to Anfield next year.
“I will only be satisfied if we reach the Champions League,” Klopp told Sky Germany.
“You are always under pressure. In every game there is pressure.
“You need to win all the time. I’m only satisfied when the team wins.”
