The 31-year-old right-back feels their 3-2 win over Southampton in the EFL Cup final on Sunday has given United hope that they can fight for three more trophies.
But should sixth-place United fail to catch the Blues this season, the Red Devils will be ready to challenge again next term.
"Yes, this is the mentality we have," Valencia said. "The League Cup has given us much confidence.

"We are thinking about these three trophies. We can do it. We have to realise we are Manchester United and that we can go on to win these three trophies.
"We haven't given up hope of the League yet this year - we'll still fight right to the end this season.
"But if we can't do it this year then we will go into next season and fight for the league."
