Mourinho is considering strengthening in that position, and reports have suggested United are weighing up a move for £10million-rated Celtic star Kieran Tierney.

The Independent claim United are willing to listen to offers for the 21-year-old, with Mourinho becoming increasingly frustrated with his lack of progress.
Some of United's senior first-team players are to believed to have had private conversations with Shaw.
It is suggested that United could make a move for Tottenham star Danny Rose, but it is unclear whether the north London outfit would be willing to sell to a direct rival.
Speculation surrounding Rose's future at White Hart Lane has risen following rumours of interest from United and Manchester City.

Shaw meanwhile was left out of the matchday squad for the 1-1 draw against Liverpool on Sunday, and Mourinho explained why he overlooked him.
He said: "When you have Antonio Valencia playing as a right winger you cannot defend with two players.
"You need that third player to give some cover inside and to keep some balances, and he [Matteo Darmian] did that well."
