Confirmed: Man United secure transfer
MANCHESTER UNITED have sent Joe Riley on loan to Sheffield United until the end of the season.

Riley, 20, is yet to make a Premier League appearance for Manchester United and almost saw a move to Bramall Lane scuppered due to concerns over his fitness.
However, the Blades have confirmed the midfielder has joined up for the remainder of the campaign.

"Joe is a young player who is comfortable playing on both the right or left and that versatility will be important to us," said Blades boss Chris Wilder.
"We are delighted to have him with us for the remainder of the season and happy that Manchester United have allowed him to further his development here."

Riley, who plays on the left side of midfield, becomes the fourth arrival at Sheffield United this month.
He joined Manchester United in 2013 and recently played 85 minutes for their reserves against Liverpool after recovering from a back injury.
